Does anyone know if one is to submit resignation letter before Christmas will the company rescind holiday pay?

I would wait to tender your notice until after the holidays. If you are are going to a competitor, they may walk you straight out the door and rescind your notice, therefore negating the holiday time anyway.
For your household budget etc, should consider the possibility that they may not have you work out your two weeks .
If your last day is prior to the Holiday, of course you won’t receive holiday pay. If you work the holiday you will receive pay for time worked plus the standard holiday pay and any overtime due. This is not impacted by providing notice.
Yes, scheduled to work one of the Christmas holidays. I’ll wait till day after. After all, it’s a business.
Salaried shouldn't impact anything. Hourly, maybe, if you're scheduled to work holidays and get x1.5 or have some other holiday pay arrangement.
