Melone is from Verizon and they've been having mass layoffs for years. Don't think he wasn't on board with what was going on. Sell fiber to pay off debt. Use tower to pay dividends and clean house of all the nepo vps, directors and mgrs so it can be what it should have always been. If they'd have stopped the nepotism bs 10 years ago fiber may have worked out.

Haha. Great news. Crown "retired" me last month, so I could pursue other opportunities outside of Crown Castle. We wish Jay well in his future endeavors.
This change clears the way for the fiber to be sold off. Once fiber is gone we can finally get back to sanity.

I’m actually disappointed he “retired” in an email. He should have put together one of those fun pre-recorded videos the same way he did when he told all the folks at SP they were going to have to make some tough decisions in their life.
