Can anyone confirm the rumors about the next wave and when it is expected to launch? Will it affect all or just particular organizations (e.g. GIS)? Will there be a voluntary program?
Not sure if any folks from Germany are here…

Step up and report on
linkedin or other sites.
@1hdu+1pWeQFeg - dude you are absolutely right. In every call with the customer there will be tons of useless guys aka paper pushers and hardly couple of technical guys who understand the solution and are capable of implementing them.
No wonder that we are loosing in all the fronts.
Can remember how I was laid off without any compensation package due to the great stuff one worker's council did in one particular entity in Germany three years ago. In all honesty, what does this company still hold in value? It's ridiculous what they publicly pretend to be on LinkedIn LOL. Dude, just run away there are still plenty of good opportunities in Germany in this industry despite the economic downturn...
The whole problem with DXC is that the skills mix is wrong. We have way too many project managers, clearly intent on over bloating everything. Often more time gets spend managing that doing!! We have way too many support staff who've been doing the same thing for years, and determined it can't change and still needs to be done manually. From security admin to server deployments and checks. What we don't have enough of are competent technical staff who can design, build and deliver solutions the streamline legacy bad practice. And that's because we don't have solid management who can says yes spend some money on DXC tools, and lets automate our way back to profit. If the ship sinks trying least we tried. Cos' I'm quite convinced it's sinking anyway!
Most staff left now started reducing their work input starting years ago when they didn't get pay rises. Having claimed back the missed salary via lack of input it explains all on why DXC can no longer deliver what it claims to sell.
There is no business in this country. Highly expensive from a labour and business cost perspective. Very restricted / protective laws with worker councils and all the 9 yards.
Guess some folks are looking at the cost benefit analysis. Way to go.
look for s new job,
ask HR for a package
then leave as fast as you can
you don't need to wait on a offical WFR
