Anyone know what's going on in IT? Sudden firings of long term managers and we don't get any explanation or plans of what's to come seems strange.

You don't usually get an explanation for why a senior person has left the company. It was odd but it was 1 person and not the start of some great shift. There's no shrinking of IT by 50%. That's just d-mb. IT is hiring people.

Probably just the company trying to right size the IT organization since it currently seems over staffed.
