CM3 Consolidation on the horizon?

They are now automating the adoption and QTC process for all schools so that CM3's can "concentrate on PO follow-up". I think these are the first steps to a CM3 realignment so we can take on even more schools. We were promoted with absolutely insulting "raises" to begin with for the amount of hours we have to work to keep up with everything, and now we will be expected to take on even more. The new auto-adopt mandate is coupled with QTC overlays on the back end so no one is making educated decisions on QTC's based on extended history, only the previous semester or two. Many CM3's had adoption renewal pushed through on their campuses without their knowledge the past week as a precursor to this, approved by RM's (not CMRM's, or with any communication at all). I bet they will look at automating ML's and CMML's processes next.

It happened. They just laid a ton of CM3's off.

JRC must show a favorable ROI.
Cut employees, increase workload, reduce pay.

Retalon was home office making automated QTC decision. It was a disaster. These are tools managed by the CM3 and their managers. This is not retalon.

Did no one remember what happened when they tried this with Retalon? It was a disaster, it lasted one semester and then they had to stop.

Also, I posted this before the announcement.

BS. CM3 were told and were the ones that actually did the renewal in many cases.

It was pushed through in three of my campuses without my knowledge. I was told after the fact, when it was time to process the adoptions. Even the CSM and ML's weren't told. We also do not have the ability to load adoption renewals, so call BS all you want.

"CM3's had adoption renewal pushed through on their campuses without their knowledge the past week as a precursor to this, approved by RM's".
BS. CM3 were told and were the ones that actually did the renewal in many cases. It was both announced and discussed with them.
However consolidation is definitely coming.

"Then we become a GM store and sell sweats, tees, and water bottles"
That to me sounds awesome. Textbooks/course materials are so much work for such a low margin.
GM- high margin, you run our, no professor barking up your *ss, no returns.

What a nightmare to lose sight of all the historical data in QTC decision making. When I started years ago if a class had a cap of 25 students, QTC was 18. Then 12. Then as digital grew 10. Pretty soon there will be no QTC because everyone wants digital. Then we become a GM store and sell sweats, tees, and water bottles. Loved the game way back I did.
