Wow, this is messed up.
I received documentation that my role was eliminated by the acquisition but I was still on VMWare payroll and benefits through Jan 26, 2024. As part of the documentation, it stated that access to VMware sites and benefits would be kept as part of being "reasonably available".
Got it, I was checking email periodically.
As I tried to log in today and access the benefit site, my computer and accounts were not working. After calling VMWare IT support, I was told my accounts are all disabled since I am being flagged as being terminated.
My experience does not match all the documentation provided.
What is going on here? Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?
