So is a general S&P500 index fund. What’s your point?

You can tie a pretty bow onto a bag of garbage but it is still a bag of garbage.

The stock price is a result of the current markets overall. The increase in stock prices has absolutely nothing to do with how this dumpster fire is being managed (or mismanaged rather). Competitors stocks are up much higher than 25% over the same timeframe.

I love my company! This is a wonderful place to work. Don’t believe the naysayers on this site who tell you otherwise. If you’re looking for a job, this is the place to go! Allstate takes care of you!

Allstate employees, knowing what you know about the company, how many of you would purchase AS stock at its current price level?

While I agree Allstate isn't the greatest of workplaces, anyone with a 401(k) or pension plan within Allstate should WANT the stock to be up. You benefit from that. Don't root against yourself or your finances...

I can’t believe Progressive is going to pay a premium to buy out Allstate!
