You ever catch yourself working too hard and think, "I better chill, they don't pay me enough for this." Do more of that because it's not worth it anymore.

100000% agree with this post and every comment! I also starting quiet quitting a while ago. I too put my above and beyond ALL into this job for absolutely nothing. I complete my daily task and nothing more.
I went above and beyond for 7 years, but because my Director didn’t have experience and hired all of her friends, job performance doesn’t matter. Imagine having a boss that can’t read or write an email yelling all day at you. There is no point of them hiring anyone with common sense or experience. It gets overshadowed by the inexperienced PL. But they get the bonuses and tell us they have to give us “meet expectations” bc they’re told to. Whats the incentive to work harder? A PL determining my career path with no experience or education is a slap in my face.
I've been quiet quitting for a while now. I always go beyond for the member because they aren't at fault here, but meeting metrics? I do one over my daily required. That's it. I could do triple, but why? Where is the incentive? They pay me to do one job, not 5. I used to do what I could because I felt like the company was compensating me fairly. Not anymore, though. They have taken away several benefits and added more cost, which bottom line, that takes away from the compensation I agreed to when hired. Their actions are causing a ton more work for us that shouldn't be there. I am just not going to do more than required for a company who sets us all up for failure. I don't even expect them to "care". I just expect them to give me the tools I need to do my job accurately and to stop sabatoging every aspect of the company. I am in grievance and appeals, so believe me when I say that every layoff, every system downgrade and particularly every outsourcing is causing a multitude of issues and delays. The abrasion with members and providers is uncalled for. Imagine calling into your health plan and getting put on hold for 2 hours because the customer service rep goes to lunch and leaves you hanging. Imagine calling into the plan several times in one day because nobody knows how to help you, or my personal favorite, getting yelled at and sworn at in another language by customer service because you asked to speak to someone in the States. I would never refer anyone to a Centene product. It is criminal what they do to their customers.
No holiday party, no holiday bonus, no $50 little bonuses through the year like WellCare used to give for just performing well, absolutely no incentive to go above and beyond. Why would I?
Yeah and the layoffs do not take into account your past performance. I was there 16+ years had significantly exceeds last year and still got cut.
Good question. I have always exceeded production. They dropped me in a line of business with no training and I missed production by 1 friggin claim last month and I got talked to. Not interested in giving any more than is necessary. Besides what is my motivation? I have none - no raises, no additional compensation for new job responsibilities I didn't ask for, no promotions, no worthwhile COLA that doesn't cancel itself out, 401K tanking daily, no tech expense reimbursement for the states they are not legally required by law to provide, and no bonuses (but you can be sure that upper management will still get theirs based off our work). If they will only give the bare minimum then that's what they will receive in return.
Sarah London screwed up this company. I guess the board by putting an id--t like her in charge
Every. Single. Day.
I used to go above and beyond. Starting seeing how even if I got EE at review time- never compensation or promotions to match. I’m done giving them my all
