The morale on my team is lower than it has ever been. Aside from layoffs- Centene taking away the floating holiday, internet reimbursement, no bonuses for employees grade A-L, raises that don’t keep up with inflation, never any thing from upper management to express appreciation and thanks to us- is what’s contributing to this low morale. The last town hall was on culture. What culture? We are not treated well here in the least. The annual holiday gift of pretzels does nothing- that may not ever reliably be mailed anyway. I am astonished by the lack of employee care here. Employees are not first and probably never will be here. It’s disgusting.

It looks like full time pharmacy associates are getting a $1k bonus for Xmas. The supervisors and managers aren't even getting an Xmas bonus.
Internet isn't a requirement and alot of places do not pay for that so was shocked we had it here at all., floating holiday was taken but you got more holidays off in 2024, and there are many companies in this space who do not offer a bonus at all. I got a 1% raise at my last place of employment for meeting expectations, and that was on the high end in line with meeting expectations as a fairly high leader...be grateful...
If I'm not getting a bonus this year and my favorite colleagues are being let go without reason, can you at least please tell me how to get the holiday pretzels? Thank you in advance.
Why in the name of the almighty would anyone think or want Centene to become a tech company? That’s straight out insane. That’s not our core business. That doesn’t pay our bills. We are NOT Optum.
We need to get better at serving our members. Our competition regularly beats the pants off of us but not product for product. Its the reporting and infrastructure to support the product that hurts us.
Neidorf wanted Centene to be a tech company, that is correct, thats the reason he suggested Sarah for the CEO role, because she was supposedly a " tech strategist" , Sarah has turned out to be just a crock of sh-t, what a shame.
It is sad. The final few years with Michael at the helm, he wanted Centene to become a technology company. The perks were improving and becoming better than other companies, attracting new workers. Now, the perks are slowly aligning with the other tightwad corporations. Why are you giving $2,000 yearly to the employee health savings account? We only give $1,000. You should decrease the company share. It was decreased in 2022. The technology reimbursement is going away in 2024. Why? Because other corporations are taking it away, too. The workers have lost their advantages we gained during the pandemic.
For Drew you are just a number, a headcount, part of the SG&A line, they get their mouth full saying is about the member, we are the greatest employer but they go on the back and fire a sh-t ton of people, just squid games style, it is all about their pocket book, the crazy thing is that they are not even qualified to run this company and are burning it to the ground

Typical. My all time favorite be grateful you have a job but please make sure you keep bending over and taking it even after they fu-k you over and over and over and over. Please just stop. Next thing you know they will say they will only pay Federal min wage of $7.25 because its legal and you'll still tout the be happy you have a job line. Nah ...If your grateful to not be respected and treated as you are worth nothing more a number used so they put more $ in their pocket and not yours then so be it. Maybe go create a "I Love Centene" website where you can attract people that are in alignment with what you believe to be acceptable behaviors by others.
