I was a long-time employee of Micro Focus who retired soon after OT completed its acquisition of AMC (which was where I had my position).
The all-hands meetings at OT often included activist WOKE speakers. That was different from the all-hands meetings we had under Micro Focus, which were all about the business.
I am glad to be out of OT, and wish all the luck possible to the ones who are still at AMC (now part of Rocket Software).
AMC is mainframes. Not really something OT wants to do. Why not sell for that money and its a win for Rocket too. Not sure what the complaining over spilled milk is but...not happy move on yall.
They are probably the lucky ones. This place is a disaster and CEO is a nightmare.
Only the optionless stay for any length of time in the hole.
