Thread regarding Capital One layoffs

Scared of YE results

Really scared of what kind of message I’d get in January and what that might mean…prepping my resume and preparing for interviews but can’t shed this deep sense of dread that’s eating away at me everyday…

This is exactly how I feel. Being told yesterday our department basically needs to pick to move to banking or SCRA because our call volume is so low, all while they are telling us directly to our faces, we have nothing to worry about and etc. Its dreadful and I have actively been looking for another company to move to. This place is definitely not worth the stress.

If you feel as though your anxiety has reached a clinical point, you can definitely take medical leave. This will delay a PIP if that’s what your outcome is for up to 3 months and is paid 100%.

No job should make you feel this way. don’t stress over something you can’t control.

A friend of mine lost his job 4 years old and was very depressed, he was even on medication for depression.
3 months after losing his job, he found his dream job with more pay, benefits and less stress. He was recently promoted to a director .
