Agree 110% with @1lqn+1pNP1X9Y

Sad thing is that the top layer at Magenta has already cornered millions of dollars. So their own future is secure.

Even if company is wiped off because of their insane actions, they will just go and live on their life enjoying in Golf Resorts.

SLT is friggin ingnorant. They just cut a TON of tribal knowledge in August. They'll never recover a lot of that. It was already an absolute nightmare trying to figure out who owned a lot of internal systems, apps, etc. They have cut entire internal organizations with absolutely ZERO care about the fallout that is to come. Will external customers (actual real life phone customers) see this? Not in the short term, but in the long term they have everyone in IT roles scrambling like a bunch of chickens with no heads just trying to figure out how to handle the work loads. They keep preaching 'security, security, security' and then just totally turn a blind eye to the actual internal problems that are going to come around and bite that company in the a-s one day. NO ONE is actually held accountable for the failures to execute on what every other company is perfecting in this area to make sure they're not wiped off the map by a massive attack. I've learned a lot in the search for a new role.... And a lot of what I've learned is just how apathetic SLT is compared to just about every other company of any respectable size when it comes to their concern about cyber attacks. It really is all talk and little action! When push comes to shove, it's a good 'ol boys club and if you know someone a notch or 2 above you in the food chain then you can just get a waiver on all the requirements to make your stuff secure. In some cases, that exact mentality impedes the security of other entire application or OS stacks bc there's one 'exception' holding the entire process from moving forward..... FOR YEARS AT A TIME!!! So go ahead Mikey boy.... Cut more IT people and see where you land eventually. Of course I'm sure they'll just farm it out to overseas contractors anyway... That money comes out of a different bucket so it looks better on paper.

If they did a layoff in November, it would be small and would fall through the cracks. Part of the strategy. They would have another small one in February.

Highly doubt there will be more layoffs in 2023. 2024 will be a different story

Really? TMO laid off 5000+ in Aug Sep. How can they start another layoff drive in just 2 months time.

Beyond understanding what the he-l is wrong with this SLT. Are they looking to finish the company?
