Source- Internal. Cannot say more due to reasons we all know. But be prepared and be diligent. I don’t know who’s going to be targeted.

Centene is a complete joke! From VP, Directors, Managers and Senior Leads they have no idea wth they are doing! Rude comments, bullying and being inappropriate with team in emails have made this place a hostile work environment. It is sad that no one has addressed this and complaints have been filed.

They need to lay off all the supervisors and managers and put people in those positions that have actually done the work- not have been handed a position on a silver platter because who they know. More than half of those managers and supervisors have never done the job they are supervising or managing, so they can’t even help employees with any barriers or issues! Gold old boy network and a lot of family members hired on and put in higher paying positions! They didnt earn it!

Maybe they should have confessed to the employees that Centene was charged with Medicaid fraud in early 2023 and lost millions in Medicare memberships because they could not compete with their peers. This is why all of the innocents were sent to the sla-ghter and more layoffs are coming in 2024.

Drew said it in the meeting, “we’ll be shrinking more than three percent on 2024”

contractors have 0 to do with layoffs. That has to do with how much of the workforce can be contracted and for how long. This is not new...

Agree not a secret. "Continual reduction in 2024" "analyse business needs and adjust" "2024 will be a hard year"

Although I agree with you for the most part, I would be shocked if they gave a heads up. They were livid that this layoff wasn't kept on the downlow like all the others were.

I agree, there will be more. Hopefully we can get a heads up on when, before the actual day. Just to mentally prepare, as much as possible that is. I am so disillusioned with all this. Company used to be so much better. So frustrated at the lack of communication. In the Town Halls why don’t they talk about what some of the changes are. My supervisor doesn’t tell us anything other then numbers, which have to be perfect so she does not get yelled at. If she does then it all rolls down hill. Just my rant for today.

Not sure if the fact they trained me in True Care is a good sign, or meaningless.

One question - confirmed for pink slip in 2024, or pink slip given in 2023 for a 2024 layoff date?

Thank you for the heads up.

I know in our area, they've set several contractors last day at 12/31.

Based on everything being said in town halls, I think it’s obvious that there will be more layoffs. It’s no big secret.
