It's another way of laying people off without saying it.
If it doesn't help me pay for my car insurance bill and fill up my tank so I can drive into work everyday to keep management happy, it's going straight into the bin. Don't even bother. That includes a $50 Starbucks card. I'll cut it in half and throw it in the bin. Don't care. It doesn't help me at all.
