They will pay any CEO according to performance.
On legal - I'm not familiar with the particulars, but does the new, female head have the same experience and same responsibilities as the prior head head?
If so, I'd imagine that there would be lots of other companies that would love to hire her, and for more money. That's how it works.
Will they pay a female CEO as much as a male? Not new female legal leader. Her SVP and VPs keep reminding us that she is not a top exec and not highly paid. The lower pay is not commanding respect.

She's at TIAA which everyone knows means Thanks In Advance @sshole. She would surely tank the place.
