AIP (Allstate Identity Protection) used to be called "Infoarmor". It was one of Tom's "galaxy brain" acquisitions shortly before the pandemic. Since Tom's ego is involved it will probably limp along quietly in the background. My understanding is that they offer it on a B2B basis, selling it to HR departments as a "benefit". I've heard rumors of them shopping it around, but Tom undoubtedly over-paid so any sale would likely be at a loss, which would wound Tom's fragile ego (and he'd likely take it out on whichever exec negotiated the deal).
What is AIP?
Yay! you're still employed by a lying moral sewer of a company. Not much of a career to be gloating about. Sure I'm still here but just collecting a paycheck doing what I feel like giving towards the job and not an ounce of effort more. Anyways AIP sector is openly on the market and not long for this company.
