How long can Lumen continue to lose market share and revenue before it's forced to declare bankruptcy?
I don't have any idea myself but I'm guessing by this time next year Lumen will be in receivership with a Bankruptcy Court.

A simple understanding of why Lumen is so messed up and why its so difficult to fix this.
Mismanagement of systems and resources over time.
Most of the systems are complicated.
However they were often treated like simple systems and the experts were moved to other areas or left or were laid off/retired.
Then management moves people around like they were reusable resources. Get rid of experts and end up with a bunch generalists.
Then you wonder why you have so many problems.
And then you have some of the CTL systems which if your lucky have 1-2 super employees who work them still. If they leave or are accident given a VSPP then your are in trouble.
Many systems are in trouble as the SME(s) have left a long time ago.
The Federal Reserve's swift interest rate hikes are making long-suspected zombie firms go bankrupt. In the first 9 months of 2023, 516 companies filed for bankruptcy, according to S&P Global Intelligence.
Highly unlikely LUMN will go bankrupt. The true value of their fiber assets is greater than their debt. The bondholders are propping up a terribly managed company. Best course of action is to sell to another venture capitalist company---like they did selling Savvis to BC Partners and CenturyTel to Apollo. There is no chance for LUMN to succeed or survive.
6 months to 2 years maybe
once they sell off quantum I would expect a fast crash thereafter
How long can this go on?
3 - 6 months then it'll all be over
Who really cares T this point no matter what flavor of this company you came from hmm let’s list the names ., you are all survivors of a horrific corporate America mismanagement of a company. Get me double cheese burger and make it snappy!
Unlikely. They'll pack the losses in one of less relevant companies and bankrupt than one only, while they continue "restructuring for growth" for the remaining ones.
I'll take a Double Cheeseburger with extra pickle YES man! Hurry now...
See you at Walmart
“ By next year, I see you scraping by looking for any job pays enough to eat”
