HR is meeting with some of us leaders and some of our leaders are asking us to cut from our teams. It appears no team is safe, despite how small.

Is this the previously rumored February round or is it being moved up to January? Are the areas already reduced being impacted again or is it only teams who've escaped the axe thus far?

Poster @6izb+1pHgypPx is correct. Management doesn't give a rats azz how much you work or don't work. They want you to not make waves and be a headache for them. Sit back, do the bare minimum (or less) and take the ride.
There is a RIF happening in January. There will be more reorganization and targeted reductions as a result.
I worked in Uber home office. They laid off my team the weak of Thanksgiving. Good times.
InfoSec appears to be affected. One team hired 10 directors and middle management is being targeted.
They don’t want to work.

Got an email about " realigning values" and all of the other jargon they use...looks like this may be true. Carelon side.
YOU DO JOT NEED TO WORK HARD TO KEEP YOUR JOB. They do not care how much work you do. They do want you to shut up! On my team, the only people that did not get cut were the few, 4 who did not complain to management . Those who did complain, in order to stop the waste and inadequate work.... all laid off. Also age... if you want to keep you job at Atgem, don't get old, don't talk. Actual work is optional .
At this point, one would have to wonder if this isn't HR themselves posting these vague comments. Don't forget those who are fearful of losing their job are the same ones who will work all the harder in thinking they will keep their job.

The level of anxiety and disengagement these waves of RIF are causing associates is terrible.
Rumor is another RIF could happen over the holidays which impacts business operations and health plans.
What department is this?
