What a joke, DXC are going for ISO9001 (Investment in People).
They could not invest in a dog t**d.
Not a snowballs chance of survival in an erupting volcano of winning it.

We already got certified ISO 420 for timely salary rises and bonuses for executives. Now we are doing the same for the rest of the work force.
ISO9001 isn’t investment in people, The IIP cert was dropped years ago for cost reasons and also because investing in people yielded no return on investment (according to DXC). Ho ho. ISO 9001 is an international standard in Quality Management, to demonstrate the products and services designed, developed or onboarded follow systematic and monitored processes to assure the quality of product and meets customer needs, blah blah blah. Although this doesn’t have the prominence or leverage for contracts it once had, but it’s core principles are the same.
DXC had this cert years ago but struggled to maintain it or even host the independent assessors to monitor it, due to all the cost cuts and a complete lack of control and consistency in any of its global procedure set. I didn’t know they had lost this cert, but it would t surprise me. It was (originally acheived in 1994 by CSC and later re-scoped and certified under a reluctant DXC who just saw the whole thing as a cost drain and wanted to shelve it despite a number of customer contracts requiring it, whereby a cost penalty would apply if they could no longer maintain it. So DXC’s answer to that: change the customer contracts then.
in 2003 we could deploy a physical machine in 1 day, at a bank cables run, power , racked and ready to go. Dxc takes a month to deploy a VM. shane on them
Are we partnering with AWS, or just realised they can do infrastructure provisioning 1000x better than we can. All you need is a credit card, and 30 seconds of patience. DXC/Client pointless forms like it's still 1970 were abandoned by most other companies at least 25 years ago!
Our new path breaking partnership with AWS will help us get the iso certification.
btw- it will also increase the revenue for our partner AWS. it is win win situation.
Why is that a joke?
Quality is at the heart of everything we do and are biggest assets are our people.
This must be true as I get regular emails telling me this is the case.
Also with AI Infused Platform-X producing tailormade training and development plans for all our staff how can we fail.
