They contacted me 2 months after I was laid off and I told them I had found another job...... they said great we will mark you down as a graduate of our program!

Unreal.
I had a company outsource me once, without notice, and then gave me an exit interview (if you can believe that). They actually asked me, in that exit interview, why I chose to leave my employer. Really?? I wasn't in a good space mentally to give a kind answer, we'll just put it that way.
As stated in another thread, they only care about recognition and them being “the best “ company. If they really did a third party non biased & anonymous employee survey, I guarantee they would not be anywhere near the top companies to work for. I’m happy you were able to get out and already find new employment!
Omg, I would of either had my mouth open in shock with no sounds coming out or told them the Hel.l you will!
I would literally feel so insulted. How do you fire me and then say “great you graduated from our program” after I find a new job on my own😭😭. Would have honestly cursed them out because the audacity!
