Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Project Bora Bora

All over the news, Citibank's "secret" project to reduce staff. Their layoff page is lighting up too. What is USAA's project called, and does it involve a quota of PIPs. Reddit post says that EAP contractors for USAA are telling people to quit when they call in. From a therapy standpoint that's unethical - is this another prong in USAA's strategy?

Would you provide more context? I infer that you mean that due to false PIPs, employees are experiencing stress, so counselors are advising those folks to quit rather than get fired. Or quit before damaging their mental health since fighting the PIP is a "lost cause". But I'm not sure I am understanding you correctly. Also, would you post the Reddit link?

I chose to quit when I saw the game since I did not want to harm my health (mental and physical). Plus, I chose to take my energy to find a better opportunity.

Where have you been? Being unethical IS USAA’s strategy.
