Thread regarding NextGen Healthcare layoffs

Shocking

It was pretty shocking to be on a Teams call with 100+ other people. My entire team. People I worked with for years. And to hear the "your position was identified to be eliminated". And then HR rep reading a script.
We were speculating earlier that day if the call with 100+ people would be a good call or a bad call. Surely they wouldn't tell people in a massive video call that they were ALL being let go!?

Definitely didn't see that coming.
Oh well.
Onto better things! Good luck to us all.

Your entire team of 100+ was laid off during a meeting? Doesn't the WARN Act require them to give you all 60 days notice?

I agree. 20% of the work force laid off. Sent out severance package and it is. It is not good. Let us know that we will need to sign a waiver but will not give it to us until we are closer to the separation date. This is crazy.
