The move to Overseas India, Phillipines, and now Ireland will get worse. AI is the other elephant in the room that is coming for employees. All of this doesn't bode well for any stable future. Sad to see.

Some jobs and contract restrictions... Don't worry, we either drop those contracts or we find a way to mask data, do work without accessing data (ie dev environments) row or column restrictions, use ai to replace people, or we just ignore that until caught and then say they only had access because they perform maintenance work.

What a wonderful generic message.
Did you check your crystal ball to determine that?

American workers are slowly becoming the 3rd shift to offshore and because offshore are willing to work so late in their own day they are slowly creeping into our day shift. Eventually they will just start working the night shift and there will be very little reason this company feels we need any American who costs more to perform the job. They are no different than most people I work with now so performance impact would be minimal other than all the holidays and possibly they will require training from someone who does the job they are replacing.

Some jobs cannot go overseas due to contract requirements.

Jobs are moving to India and you can't do anything about it.
