" Works for wall st why not intel?"
intel (at least the upper part) works for wall street or its board
which are driving our scientific culture into the ground
for short term profit
Intel informed employees in early December 2022 before Christmas. What would prevent them from doing it again?
No layoffs, we continue 2024 with nearly same headcount and another 5% salary cut. It worked for 2023, repeat, lather, rinse. Works for wall st why not intel?
Santa Claus will deliver the news on your desk and in your mailbox for layoffs 2024. Merry X-Mas, ho-ho-ho!!
Love,
Santa, PG, and ELT
Doing them before the end of the year is now too close to the holidays, and risks too much "cruelly laid off right before the holidays" blowback, and potential lawsuits.
they will notify you before the holidays of upcoming layoffs after the holidays
merry bleeping christmas
Man. INTC shorted shares must have emptied bank.
Yes, everyone’s reply is accurate. HR is going through skills assessment now and then calibrate during holidays for mid Jan CPM message to affected teams. Really su-ks so don’t run up cc if can avoid.
There’s always one-offs going on. But by now we’re safe from any large scale actions. Feb-Mar timeframe is when to start worrying again

Companies try their best to torture families, especially after having run up their credit cards for holiday expenses.
They know when your credit card is maxed out.
Yes. It has started. CPM pool doubled to 432 in last few weeks for Jan exit.
No.

Doing them around MLK's Birthday totally avoids that.
