In some of the recent threads, people have mentioned Cigna is cutting most departments except the AI COE and related teams. Does anyone know of layoffs occurring in those teams? If you're on an AI project, does that mean your job is safe?
It's so disheartening when you realize everyone working on AI/ML and automation might be "safe for now" but are really just working tons of people (and eventually themselves) out of a job in the long run.
