Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Employee satisfaction has taken a nosedive

It's not really surprising, with constant reorganization, cuts, and piling on of work on those of us who are still here. Cigna now has a bunch of unhappy employees who were once happy to work here and loved coming to work. Now, most of us are dreading each day. Sad how much things have changed.

There is a voluntary severance on IRIS but I can’t seem to find it anymore. Does anyone know where it’s located?

The entire culture of my team has shifted. I can feel it. Nobody wants to go the extra mile. Times when we would have said “Let’s do a little bit extra so it’s easier in the future” has now become “Just get out a minimum viable product.”

Even my manager sounds defeated. We had a conversation about the 10/12 event. “I don’t know…. we just need to get our assignments done and pray.”

We still have this sense of comradery.. but it’s now a “hope we all don’t get canned” mixed with every man for himself. We won’t throw each other under the bus but if one of us is axed… better them than us :(

It’s awful, after our sup was laid off on Thursday, in a meeting with the director someone asked if our jobs are still safe and she answered to all of us Band 3 frontline staff “this is the first of many waves and no one’s job is safe” Wow! Morale and productivity in the toilet.

Cordani is the reason of this change. The reason we are in this mess is due to his poor judgment and poor business decisions. He likes to point fingers and fire people when his decisions fail.
