BigIP is F5s baby since classic times and this is what customers know, want and pay for. XC ? hmmm, once it brings us at least 1 dollar - I am ready to talk about it.
They gave modular BIGIP a cute name.
BIGIP-Next will not keep the lights on and is far from a safe project
It would seem that F5:XC and BIGIP:Next are the safe bets. XC is where Togo-man is taking the company, good or bad, but BIGIP:Next is what F5 has to keep the lights on. Anything else is dressing. Togo-man is trying to figure out how all his purchases aren't just a drain on the pocket of F5 and can make a profit.
