Claims is hiring! Why didn’t they move people into claims?

Claims adjusters must be licensed and US citizens...
To the commenters calling claims sleazy - I suggest you walk a day in our shoes! And when we need support from other areas, it takes days. Claims holds the company together so get a grip!

Claims has a lot of attitude problems and self entitlement that needs to be cleaned out. A lot of pretty vile and sleazy persons in Claims. The very employees themselves are a big part of the problem with that area of the company along with its horrible leadership. A sweeping hot water en--a in Claims and a vetted re-hiring of the roles would help the production and atmosphere of that area. Underwriting pretty much did this in 2020 and it is better off with more sensible employees and a better operations there all around. Claims is one area that even if layoffs weren't needed a shuffling and redraw of the deck all around in Claims would help the company. A lot of those types of people need to be out of this company.
A lot of laid off employees are way over paid and over qualified for adjuster roles. Just because you clean house in one area doesn’t mean you can’t hire in another. SMH.
You will eventually see claims offshored to another country.
Because Claims isn't "hiring" like the postings suggest they are.
Spot on!
