Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Allstate Layoffs

Expect to see layoffs across the US, Ireland, and India. Allstate has made a switch over the past few years to move roles to India which is it's cheapest labor force and now they are laying those folks off. Big cuts are coming in the US across all areas.

Think big picture, they will do a reduction in force in Q4 and Q1 2024( at least 10%, you need the books to look like they are not employee heavy),you will not have the resources needed to complete any project, asc will not launch in the 10 states by the end of years much less all the states, they will offshore most of the backend accounting and other services within a year. Agency partnership will be in decline. Claims gets offshored with the next 6 months. Then you see them putting the company on the auction block for Pennies on the dollar… same playbook different day. Get out while you still can.

@foi+1p3Sd41m example Amica - They won't take anyone, and your price is an accurate reflection of underwriting the risk. It's not based on an algorithm that asks how likely you are to shop and the raise the premium because you stayed so far.

When will it be the claims processors turn to learn their fate?

They don't need as many workers from India because they are hemorrhaging customers. Smaller profits are better than no profits...
