“Manager self service has a calendar that’s posted for all of the upcoming layoff dates. Anyone with that access should be able to see it.”

If you do have access please let us know those dates. How terrible to live in fear. I feel so badly for all those who were laid off.

Anybody knows whether there are any new hires/lower positions that got laid off? I’m band 3 and my ex manager was let go today without notice.

Yesterday, I was in the round of layoffs. It totally su-ks, and while it's not performance based, it still hurts. For all that experienced this yesterday, I am sorry, you are great workers and great people, please do not let this make you think otherwise. You will land on your feet even better in your next journey.

Smaller rounds of layoffs for the next 3 years is what I’ve heard.

Cigna is a sinking ship and due to poor management decisions they are now in financial trouble. Reliable sources say they promised the market place over 400/share and since that hasn't happened the easiest choice was to layoff hard working individuals while the CEO receives his 32 million salary.

They’ve put in so many layers of management. One organization having 6 Directors - Ridiculous! From what I understood from today’s cuts, they didn’t look at Contractors, which is where they should start, in my opinion. Sad times and it’s definitely not what it used to be. Best of Luck to those affected - My heart goes out to you all.

Second layoff is unfortunately true. I’ve heard there will be multiple additional rounds over the coming months.

For those that were layed off, It su-ks, but know that there life outside of Cigna.
Cordani is dirty, just read about the covert tactic he used to sink the Anthem deal.

So sorry to everyone let go. No one is immune or indispensable. Worked myself to death for over 10 years for another company and still happened to me. Enjoy your family and live your life first, corporate America is all about the mighty dollar and will cut anyone necessary to survive and be profitable. It's just how it works and Medicare was operating way over budget.
