Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Plan migration

Yes I drank the magenta kool aid while I was there.
We were the Uncarrier and I spoke about it often to most anyone that would listen.

Now I am reaching out to all F&F to make them aware of the plan migration that will cost them more.

Have many elderly on over 55 plan that will get screwed.

Why?
Do they need cash influx that badly?

Heard a few state Attorney Generals are looking at this, and possibly FCC and other government agencies.

This has got to be one of the shadiest business moves of the year.

"We won't raise the rate on your plan, but we didn't say anything about forcibly changing your plan".

Just insulting.

I need to sell my stock on the next high point. Up to $143 yesterday, dropped to 139 today, and closed at $141...

This is seriously one of the most poorly thought out moves the company has made. And that is saying something, because there have been a lot of them.

Customers are going to be call into us at care irate over this. Even if there is an opt out option. I hope they start leaving in droves over these kinds of moves. T-Mobile has kept their lack of care in house to employees, now that isn’t enough. They are now showing that to customers. SLT is out of touch and has forgotten who pays their bills and who keeps those payments coming in. The lack of regard for customers and front line care has gone too far. Hope they see a large reduction of subscribers to prove that.

Media learned it from frontline communications. If you’d read those materials (instead of handing out in here or browsing Fierce Wireless), you’d have learned it from the company first.

I was working on messaging for this when I was shown the door. SLT had not landed on strategy, but needed it to deploy asap. I canceled my messaging meeting the morning I was laid off because I got a short meeting request from my director. Yep, challenging to message a forced plan cost increase with an opt out option only.

Very few customers get a paper bill to read messages... we are driving calls to care, so much for digital first

Reading through the document there is an “opt out” option. When you get the sms/email you have to tell care explicitly that you don’t want to switch plans and are opting out

This!!! SLT said 'price lock' we will not raise your rates. Why did we have to hear it from media vs leadership. I no longer trust them and that is why our culture su-ks now.... zero transparency
