Manager told me that my name was on the list for upcoming RIF in November. He wanted to give me heads up to prepare. I'm a materials engineer @ NRM
He said pretty much every group is going to be impacted and it is expected to be bigger than last year RIF.

I heard it is not happening because they do not have the cash to pay the severance.
Nov layoff ideal! Sweet. Probably last day in Dec and package payout in Jan. Can't ask for anything better for taxes. New job that pays 15% more within 3-5 months.
