STST Union Train Full Steam Ahead

With all the Senior Management and Director promotions last week, the old Union Train has gathered momentum!!!

The Industrial Court have just released the result of the membership check. As we have indicated all along our union is rock solid and sitting at 49.7% membership density of all Manufacturing Specialists.
After the massive upheavals of a major redundancy, where we lost over 30% of our BU this is an amazing achievement !!
It’s testament to the strength of the union at Seagate.
Next steps are there is a notice period of until the 23rd of October.
The notice period is the last chance for a voluntary agreement, after the notice period finishes; they will appoint an independent person to run a ballot, once they are appointed it’s 20 days after that.
Trade Union Organisers will be onsite meeting workers who will be voting in the upcoming ballot, which we are going to smash clean through the roof !!

You just gave me a great giggle first thing in the morning, thanks fir that. Just wish I had seen it last week and it would have made my whole week. Its also great to know that I'm living in your head rent free. You can get treatment for obsession disorders, if that would help you. And believe you me all my principles are 💯 intact....and on your point of you wishing I was there to see recognition after the ballot...oh I will be, with bells on my friend. To be honest most of the people that were driving the Union are gone now, did they have their own agenda such as redundancy, chaos and closure? Possibly. Not many strong union voices left on our shift now. Trust your own instincts when it comes to the union and how it can benefits you not the delusions of someone who has already jumped ship.

Just wish our self appointed leader was still here to see it. 49.7% thats as good as a majority right ? Good to hear hes deluded as ever still calling it our union after taking up his new position working for the crown. Another moral sold for cash. Anyway best of luck in the ballot for those who havnt lost the will to live. Yada yada........

Great. Please go on strike immediately and demand respect. Shut everything down until you are paid to the level of appropriate respect. It'll be great entertainment for me.

Listen to the id--ts that think a union will shut seagate.What will be the demise of stst is when employees get paid so poorly, it will come a time when they don't give two flying fxxks about the products they are making.If a company has zero respect for some of their employees then those employees will have zero respect for the company and products.

Was chatting to a MS on friday. Hes convinced that all the big money that management get is going to be split amongst them. Hes delighted, expecting to be in higher tax bracket. Realistic or delusional
