For those who were laid off what did your invite say? Usually when I’m safe from a layoff it’s an “organizational update” but this time I got “employee update” that says “don’t discuss this meeting invite”. I’m wondering if I’m getting laid off tomorrow. What did your invite say and were you safe or let go?

Were they all worker level people or were there any managers let go?
Northern Indiana PNC Private Bank cut something like 12 of 15 jobs. Left 3 people to handle all of Northern Indiana. I don’t think management gets it. This will not end good for a pretty good market.
The earlier the call the more likely you’re getting let go. Mine happened at 10 est
Those who have invites for tomorrow, what business area are you in?
I got laid off today also. Same cryptic invite... Senior Storage Grid - Lead engineer. Been ki-ling it, and working my a-s off too soo did not see it coming either. I have been there less than a year, rumor has it they targeted a lot of newer folks so they did not have to pay any severance. whoknows - Time to turn the page - GL to any that got screwed!
They didn’t allow us to see other recipients however my call said employee update and everyone on call was safe. Thankfully. I am so sorry to everyone who’s getting other news.
My concern about tomorrow is that there are 2 different calls at 10am. One for safe and one for layoffs. We won’t know until we dial in which one we are on
Mine says the list of attendees is hidden. I talked to others on the mortgage side and sounds like every one is on the 10 am call tomorrow with the exact same invite. So I hope it means we are all safe as it’s entire teams
Check the meeting invite, does it have a bunch of people or just you? That’s your clue
I had the same invite this morning. My meeting was today at 1pm Eastern, and was told that everyone on the call would not be losing their jobs. Unfortunately, I can't say if yours will be the same, but I hope yours is as positive as mine was.
