Yet another frustrating day of trying to find anyone willing to work at Lumen or at least work with me to get things done.
Internally, I think the place is as close to being paralyzed as you can get.
People in meetings all day but nobody is really doing getting much done.

It's our leadership putting work on hold and then changing their minds again and again, on what they think is important at the time and no long term vision. Sad, but true.
Copper is so 90's... Its dead... Lumen or CenturyLink should have moved off 10 years ago.
The confusion between Lumen and QF will be fixed soon. With the lead wallet, hard to balance a capex heavy business like QF and a medium capex business like enterprise services and make it all work.
Managers could. Care less about their employees. When will the lightbulb go off. There is only so much abuse one can watch and take
It's kinda a Catch-22. Copper is what keeps the company afloat. The legacy revenue has always subsidized the fiber business.
Any word on when this elimination of copper services might happen? Might be a half way decent place to work then.

Lumen isn't interested in supporting your livelihood. You're just a number.
Lumen is in the process of eliminating all copper services. The slow down of work is a planned schedule by the decision makers.
Eventually only the Quantum fiber, Ethernet, cloud, data center, corporate, government are the only services Lumen will offer.
A lot us will be eliminated soon. Go look for another job before others do.
