Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

SGL midpoints

Is there an overview of the salary ranges in the different grades in the BUs across the globe? I wonder if there's any significant changes in the grade levels

Midpoints go up about 15% per SGL. They are adjusted to reflect the market based on industry wide surveys. Tax deferral starts at 19. Grades 19 and 20 are where things start becoming interesting and really political. These are the levels that show you are being considered for 21+ (Leadership Forum or the top 100). Compensation at 21+ is life changing.

It varies id you’re a petrotech or a peasant with no future at the company.

The BUs have different comp plans, Vcip targets etc. The money gets “good” at a 17 for non tech ($300total comp) and bonkers at a 20 (550+ and you can tax defer). 21 club is probably 7 figures for the sage leadership and perfectly crafted PowerPoints they regurgitate from their underlings.

Keep kissing the ring and complimenting the emperors clothing and you too can have a 4th cabin and 2nd boat!
