I was informed few employees that were let go are back to WellMed. I have not received an email of getting a chance to re apply. What am I missing in here???

Why would you want to return to working for a company that made $6 Billion in profit for Q3 while at the same time laid off hundreds, maybe thousands of workers?
For open positions that remained open after the reduction (many of them were also cut), hiring managers were told to use "the list" of those impacted and who had been in potentially comparable roles. Don't ask me what qualifiers are placed on that process or selection but I've got a couple of peers who have hired off of "the list".
You have to reapply… but have you received your severance pay??? I was paid off 8/24 so far have only received the Pto payoff not the 4 weeks owed to me
