Biggest waste of cash in the company! Eliminate all automotive operations employees immediately!

They should have outsourced that (at a cost deduction) ions ago!

There is no reason for AT&T to keep automotive mechanics on payroll. This is a service which can be contracted out. There are only 2 businesses units that are focused on growth, AT&T Fiber & Mobility. If you're not supporting each of those business units, start looking for a new job.

any of these techs work on wheels? They were likely surplussed because they were tired.

Definitely should contract all managment work! Huge savings!! Everybody’s qualified to do nothing! Shouldn’t be hard to fill them!

Same as CRE, not doing traditional telecom work, here today gone tomorrow. Transfer from motor vehicles to COT, same pay grade. Safest position in the company if there is such a thing.

It's about time, they have been threatening this for years. Big savings contracting the repairs out to a third party.
