Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Sailesh Chaudhary - Another Marcus in the making?

Everything about how this T-World product is being built is jaw dropping.

  • No one is able to answer why this T-World app needs to be built 100% offshore?
  • And why this particular entity called DTDL?
  • Does Sailesh have kickbacks in this project (Yes, entity is owned by parent company DT, but it's not hard to get paid backhanded in India)
  • Entire code base will be owned by an company in India? When so much security issues is going on? How is Nester Cano onboard with this?
  • There is now app owner in USA?
  • Everyone touching T-World says the way it is executed is clusterf....
  • Why is Omar Tazi blind to what Sailesh Chaudhary is doing to T-Mobile teams?
  • Is no one HR interested in mental health of T-Mobile employees? Everyone dealing with this project is stressed out
  • A toxic culture is being built right infront of everyone and no one seems to care
  • Is it intentional to drive our talented people with ownership of application and run everything from India?

How do we bring the all this to attention of executives? There is no way to anonymously report with-in the company. Someone in C-Suite need to look at this before it blows up.

Sailesh needs to go. He really has crossed limits on how disgraceful he is.

Works behind people and double faced.

Check his linked he has support from parent company leadership and a stream of medals from his time at DT. TMobile digital is atrocious , can’t get any worse ….. Omar & Sailesh coming from the parent company will have board support and are probably here to get digital in order among other things.

I’ve seen Senthil mentioned in several other Marcus threads. Who is this guy?

Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs Private Limited is a fully owned subsidary of Deutsche Telekom. This is the team that build the "One App" which is DT equivalent of the proposed T-world.
From what I understood this team was hand picked by Sailesh from his previous stints

For Sailesh, DTDL is his team (Remember Marcus saying he doesn't trust T-Mobile engineers but trusts Willow tree engineers. This is kind of same sh-t)

Sailesh is Omar's right hand man. Omar is not blind. It's his wish that's being executed by Sailesh

Nestor is not onboard with DTDL owning the code. There is a standoff between Omar and Nestor, which Omar will win because of DT backing in the board

Considering the poor state of T-Mobile's website, apps, and anything digital, do we really think offshore teams are going to make things worse? I say give them a chance ... our current approach is clearly not working.

Sailesh Chaudhary ought to contact the survivors of the Marcus crowd for support, including Abigail Franco, Senthil, Adam M., and Melissa. Ironically, these gullible followers of Marcus will begin praising Sailesh to enhance his reputation. The cycle of flattery continues at T-Mobile.

Believe me! There will never be another Marcus—utterly unaware, solely self-centered, and fixated on his brand, which, to be honest, wasn't what he believed it to be. Nearly everyone, except for a handful, found reasons to mock him behind his back.

i saw him bragging in his linkedin post, when he posted his job opening having 1000+ applicants for PM role at Tmo. Pure cr-p and sh-t face MF in the making.
