Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Fiserv DNA Client Here

I was wondering if anyone could share a summary of what is happening internally there. I've read through some of the posts and they've helped explain some things, for example we had reached out to the Costa Rica office in the past were making progress, but then everything stopped, with no explanation. And I read in a post here that the office was sold last year?

I'm reading about numerous offices closing, and everyone being asked to work at designated offices by a certain deadline (March 31, 2024)? Is that true? Which obviously is leading to a good number of employees leaving. Does anyone have an overview of which DNA teams are gone/still left? We try to be as understanding as possible but the lack of response for months is very troubling on our end. If anyone is willing to provide a high level summary, I would be grateful.

Thank you all for providing some insight. Looks like it's sad times at Fiserv, especially this week with this announcement. I'm truly sorry that you all have to go through something like this. I'm curious, are all the delays in receiving responses to issues/questions regard the DNA upgrade, as well as the encryption upgrade a result of lack of development resources? I think most clients are asking that Fiserv push back their timetables as we do not have enough time to test, on top of the delays in receiving responses to our issues or even getting things installed into our test environments to begin testing.

We have money hungry, attention seeking corporate investors running this place now. That is our model of support now.

Kinda sad people need to go to a layoff forum for a way to contact support.

All DNA is moving to New Jersey or being let go.

Lots of doom and gloom here plenty of dna talent still left in the form I know many of them so let’s be honest.

Servicing is tough enough and the firm is making moves to build a sustainable model there will be some pain in the gap that’s how it goes.

Dear DNA client,

Please know that those of us that have been working on DNA for many years only want the best for you. As many have echoed here, the upper management in Berkeley Heights has really tied our hands in many ways. We continue to train new employees that had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they were hired. The reality of working on a banking software platform is that you can’t simply replace employee a with employee b. Those of us that are left will continue to work to help all of our clients in the best possible way that we can until we are pushed out the door because we refuse to move to a new city that is nowhere remotely near where we have built roots and community.

The only way I see things changing is by going up the chain to the top. The board of directors need to hear from the clients the negative impact of what Frank and the rest of his team have done to this once solid core.

Wishing you the all the best.

90% of the DNA knowledge at Fiserv has left in the last 2 years, including myself. Morale took a huge dump when Franky took over and started forcing employees who were hired remote, and had proven track records as being highly effective remote, into an office for no other reason than to line his own pockets. He ruined that company and the board rewarded him for it. Shame all around.

Every dna expert who was my goto for help has either left fiserv, was forced to leave, or asked to move so they were let go when declining the offer.

We can’t even get good help internally from DNA from other fiserv products . The people who try to help, I’ve had to show them how to troubleshoot their own products. They’ve obviously lost most of their technology and product knowledge.

I’ve worked with DNA for decades, well before they were fiserv, when they were OSI. It’s sad to see such a great product gutted by the site strategy.

Dear Customer, thanks for being a customer, first and foremost. We, the rank and file external of NY/NJ want to help you and see you succeed but our hands are tied. Management only lets us do so much and they certainly don’t communicate plans such as consolidation of offices and platforms. If they did that there would be early exits of effected people. As best we can tell, consolidation is and will be priority 1 for the foreseeable future.

Upper management including John will only give you lip service and then throw it back on your rep. The resources are just no longer available, most talent was either cut or left on their own. I’m sorry to say that bc you clients are suffering. Those still at Fiserv are in a horrible position of taking on 2-3 extra jobs so every team is backlogged. Be nice to any tenured associates still here bc they are all you have left.

Dear Customer, we sold the CR office to a third party. You are not being serviced by Fiserv. Frank doesn’t care about your business, if it is not clover 🍀, then it means nothing to him! If I were you , please call John Gibbons and ask him to report to your office. Many C suites have done that!
