Our communication department is a joke. Led by an AVP who talks about everyone, is a role model for passive-aggressive behavior, and has effectively run five high-performing leaders, strategists, and employees out of the area. The directors are all but worthless. From clueless and retiring to the over confident little man syndrome, I'm shocked more haven't left having to work for this crew. Now that the department is breaking apart, layoffs have to be coming soon.

I'm guessing Marketing. Completely incompetent leaders who pick their favorites as peers. They created a new position for AVP of Strategy, she has yet to do anything different in since the 70 people were fired in May. Another one who barks but produces nothing valuable. Public Affairs is seeing an exodus also...

Let's see, "Communications" is either Marketing or Public Affairs, unless they are talking about a communications area for a specific department.
