I heard layoffs is cancelled this week because of the new iPhone launch. This makes a lot of sense as we will be all hands on deck.

Create a workday event that states you had a stretch assignment with Callie.
She signed off on the great work you did.
Then add you tickled Friers ba--s, and was a copilot on a seaplane the company owns.
You will be kept.

This guy got laid off from my team. He was smarter than the rest of us put together. Literally! He was a remote worker but also was not one to "brag" on Workday.
Another guy was kept. He fluffed up Workday with every tiny miniscule thing he did.

Moral of the story: Pack Workday with a bunch of cr-p. Use big words.

You are constantly being stack ranked by your superior. ( I believe it’s updated quarterly).

Do they fact check … nope
Had a coworker that claimed she worked on projects that she didn’t and also earned multiple certifications that again she didn’t.

I keep hearing that a consulting company came in to do the layoffs and that they used Workday? Is that right? It doesn't seem right, because that would mean that employees were allowed to pad there skill set and experience before the outside company then used that information to lay employees off. I don't think that would be right to do. In other words employees were able to lie on Workday because I know a few people that put down skills they don't have then the firm used that information to pick who should stay and who should go. I am not saying that is what they did but if you believe they used workday and used skills listed to keep some and not others then some people got to stay because they lied in workday.

I think marketing will be gutted next week. It supposed to be the last week of September, but one of the leaders mentioned the intention to speed it up

I don’t really care if I get laid off one way or another. Things always work out but the waiting su-ks. And some of the people chosen Just don’t make sense. I almost feel like they put names in a hat and just draw.
