after years of the same amount, my last paystub child support payment unexpectedly increased slightly. It would still be the correct amount for a monthly payment split. However it was previously split over the yearly pay cycle. Also does anyone know how child support is taken out or if it is taken for the lump sum payment if i am indeed to be laid off this friday?

I wanted to leave my marriage when my youngest was 2. My child support payments were going to be around $3600. So I stayed. In 6 months that kid will be 18. Freedom is near!!
When they target your child support you can be sure you're going to get a layoff notice. LOL
Child support su-ks!
You ain't seen nothing yet! You will get reviewed every 6 Mos to determine if you can pay more!
She makes much more then she did as an RN now. HR is not sure and opened a case will let me know next week. I am thinking I'll find out Friday though...
You have been paying the same amount for years, yet you get a raise every year.
Interesting
Not related, call the county/city/state office that sets those up and ask.
I guess yo could call payroll and ask if they received an increase order from the Approprit6e Gov. Department.
Your ex lover either initiated a review as some states allow this 1x every year or two years or the state itself did and the company payroll complies with judgments for withholdings. This is a stretch for AT&T did something to you. Chances are you are compensated more than you were when the previous amount was setup and it is typically a % of that amount before or after other deductions depending on state.
LOL, no way your child support payment is an indication of a layoff.
Wow, you’re really reaching now aren’t you.
