I refuse to move to Dallas or Atlanta. Most all employees in NJ feel the same way as I do. Don't look for many from Jersey to relocate, ain't gonna happen.

They only care WARN requires 60 days notice with PAY.

they are purposeful in how many they are laying off per state to not trigger WARN! This is a strategic effort to save them money while getting rid of the old folks that have pensions.

NJ will be the first of the 7 hub locations to close by EOY 2024. Everyone will need to report to Dallas or Atlanta if you want to keep your job.

Maybe they don’t even know who they are cutting yet- just figure they’ll get a bunch of non-badge swipers who haven’t returned to the office

No.

These people have already been notified. Under NJ Warn they get 90 days notice. Whoever they are, they know who they are.

@ppa - I wouldn’t be surprised, but in this case they are NOT worrying about being under the radar… this new one was posted on the NJ WARN sure.

I've heard there will be more frequent layoffs with smaller counts per in order to try to get under the reporting radar that many states require for larger layoffs.

Hm- this was filed “late last month”. I wonder if this is new - not already expected with the 1/2/3rd announced ‘waves’.
