Annnnd, so much for "NOT about foisting more work on fewer people" OPs manager now hysterically demanding that the remaining techs 'must work harder and faster to keep my scorecard clean, but remember ZERO overtime, just make it happen' This after dumping 40% of market techs since last August.

Look at these Kool-Aid drinking people still praising JohnL, the man who promised jobs-positive from Day 1. That man has not yet landed, riding the $100 million golden parachute he received to sell out all of you.

"What it takes to attract and retain customers is materially more expensive than just a few quarters ago. It costs more to subsidize handsets."

So 5000+ job losses are to subsidize handsets?

"...Recapture the entrepreneurial fast moving decisive efficient culture that got us here in the first place...."

I am not convinced this leadership team is capable of this.

I remember maybe a year or so ago in an all company meeting, MS said, "I've made my career on reorgs". I thought 3 things after hearing that: 1 - What a stupid f-ing thing to say in an all company meeting. 2. This is not a good person. 3. Time for me to leave - which a few months later I did, and I can promise you, as much as I loved working at TMOUS, I am much, much happier not working at TMOUS.

"This business is producing enormous cash"...

What a disingenuous, sadistic, estrogen-chugging bi--h. Naively putting faith in the same Sprint business plan (penny wise/pound foolish cost cutting and quarterly layoffs) the failed both Sprint and Nextel at that merge. He says at the all hands- "we can learn so much from Sprint"... yup, how to destroy a business and financially benefit yourself maybe, this a--clown is worse than Dan Hesse...

Minimal middle management laid off; majority is the ICs. WAY WAY WAY too many Directors +, some how WAY too many saved with their salaries vs the hundreds doing the work.

He's so full of sh-t with his sh-t -eating grin on. Middle management didn't cause this fiasco, they can't make any dang decisions! SLT did this. Fu-k Mike.

Middle Management slowing down decision making? Out of the 20 laid off in my group, there was one manager and one director let go.
