Can’t pay 2 years pay. We can surplus 4 legacy S people for that cost. Sorry about that.
It appears persons under the newly renewed NIC contract are going to be impacted. Anyone have more intell on this?

They literally brought on a new contractor to my team on my last day. Thanks guys! 🥴 I'm excited about the future though. I have worked exclusively remotely for 12 years and turned into an ancient troll in that time so am going to spend a couple of months focused on turning back the hands of time with tretinoin, hair dye, Botox etc. I have faith better things are to come. I am in a department ( call center in Richardson) where our work has been shifted to contractors and many changes throughout the department to encourage us to leave by attrition so forgive me if I welcome a surplus, dangling this carrot over my head is getting very tiring! Let me go already so I can get that involuntary severance payout!

I would love nothing more than to be given a VTP, but just heard yesterday that it's not gonna happen in my state because we'ere still hiring technicians even though we're not that busy. More techs will make us even less busy than we already are. Go figure??? We're told time and again that we're gonna get real busy, but after 3 years, it still hasn't happened.
