Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

Thank Greta Gerwig for no layoffs

I'm just not sure what or who will save us next year.

Don’t expect another movie for at least another five years.

Q3 2023 results were lousy except Hot Wheels and Barbie. Income Q3 2023 was only 146 million compared to Q3 2022 of 246 million. That’s bad omen with wallets puckering closed for Q4.

I think there will be. Really depends on what the other brands do. Also RTO leads to people leaving. So some automatic drops happen.

So you have Barbie and Hot Wheels doing well. What about the rest of the brands? American Girl, Mega, Fisher Price, all doing poorly, I would still be worried.

125M, just enough for Execs stock options.

The company can still benefit from laying off some useless people with large salaries
