I was laid off on 8/24. In 2024, will I get a partial bonus for the around 9 months I put in for 2023?
Please let me know.
Appreciate your response.

Absolutely not.
No. Only current employees are eligible. I have had employees switch jobs close to the review period and that new business unit will have to fund their awards. It’s a su-ky thing to write, but they (C suite execs) timed it this way on purpose. RIFS are no longer on the company ledgers and reviews start in October.
People manager here; no you will not be eligible for the RRP. It is only for current staff. I have experienced staff get RIF’d and voluntarily move to other internal positions close to common review periods and they are not eligible for the RRP distribution from the business unit. Each unit is awarded a certain “pot” to divvy awards from. Seniors of each unit ask people managers to rank their staff for awards and merits and RIF’d staff no longer appear in a managers HR portal
When RRP funds are provided to people leaders for review and determination what we'll give to staff... RIF'ed staff are not even on the report.
RRPs are not even guaranteed to current employees. My prediction is that RRPs this year, will horrible. A few years ago, 20% of staff received nothing!!!
LOL, yeah right. They layed you off to save money. You are not even an afterthought by your former team anymore.
Once you’ve been severed, they want no part of you. All of their decisions maximize the benefit and profit to the company not the employees who are only considered to be a cost and expense.
You will get nada
Have to be present to win the prize so not a chance in he-l
HR is not your friend. Contact an employment attorney.
No, both RRP and QVC state you have to be in the role at time of payout to qualify. In fact if you are in a QVC role and change positions to an RRP role prior to the QVC payout you are no longer eligible for the QVC payout. And if you moved after a certain date (believe it’s 9/20) you are not eligible for the RRP pay out either.
Not in a million years.
Actually some companies do pay bonuses to even laid off employees.
In 2017 February, I was laid off from Charter Communications and joined Optum. In 2018 Feb, Charter paid me a bonus for the months I worked for them in 2017.
I would advise you to contact UHG HR about this.
Why in the world would you get a bonus if you were laid off? Are you living in an alternate universe?
Nope they are for those still employed
