Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Sycophants lose always.

My humble commiseration with those that have lost their livelihood.Especially with schools reopening and holiday end year running up.
In my short stint at corp work/ politics i have learnt;

  • never trust or listen to c suits .Watch the money
  • never be a cultist.Tis a job.
  • never think you are non expendable.

Most legacy sprint folk are numb to layoffs as they happened annually for the better part of a decade .

If you think that the hunger games stop here ill suggest that is an exercise in naivete
(There is a reason i have a folder named useless misc where all the ra-ra/fake kumbaya emails went).

Ha @OP+1ou828YN and @1lsf+1ou828YN my folder was just called "Deleted" and Outlook had a script to open the message to prevent any issues with read confirmation scripts and then sent it directly to my deleted folder for daily cleaning. Also, set up all the stupid required bullsh-t channels in Slack to be turned off with no notifications.

I will say the ultimate irony though was that the same day I was notified of being laid off, I got a T-Mobile shirt delivered for the project I was working on. I took that afternoon off to change the oil in my car and that new shirt made a great clean-up rag.

Early on in my career, my mom told me, FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!! After more than 10 years later, not only does that phrase still ring true, but it’s louder today, than ever. Business is business and layoffs happen but the way in which T-Mobile has gone about it only proves MONEY is truly the root of ALL evil. There are people at T-Mobile RIGHT NOW who haven’t even been told they’ve been laid off yet and Sievert has the audacity to announce a buyback TODAY which serves only one purpose and that’s to bring more wealth to T-Mobile shareholders. This is yet another very sad day in America.

....And don't ever forget.

Queue up the props, pep rally's, cheap gifts, maybe even a celebrity or two, to quell those that remain into a false sense of security and/or to imply that you've been chosen. No.

My folder was called Props and BS.

Take care.
