As of today I’ve parted ways with TMO it’s been a great 8 years. For those wondering I’m under Ulfs department and got let go today while on PTO.
I’m a bit sadden but nonetheless ready for this next chapter in my career. All i can say is best of luck to all that got let go and mostly to those who stayed i genuinely hope they figure it out. I know Ulfs department is a sh-t show right now. 🤣

T-Mobile would have been better off if they’d just laid-off everyone in the Downers Grove office. That place is full of worthless toads that do nothing but drain the budget with their ridiculously high salaries that aren’t commensurate with their low contributory ideas. They escaped the last layoff and just prior to this one, they shifted the chosen few into roles that are absolutely not needed for the company. Instead they got rid of real contributors. Yeah, great move T-Mobile; you’re practicing my new Bidenomics plan! It’ll probably work as well as it is for Americans
Central Region Ops, Mostly Downers Grove got rid of 5 that I know of. Nothing like a kick in groin.

Yes, I got the boot too. I was a west region network ops tech. After 24 years, It was time for me to part ways. T-Mobile has become too toxic. It was awesome back in the day. It was still VoiceStream when I started in 1999. It was great up until Legere left. So I'm glad I'm finally out with a payout. Good luck to all that are still in, and those that will be let go. Looks like today Ulf's market and some HQ were hit, have not heard about regions, or not yet
So many were hit in TSD&O already today and it's not nearly over yet. I feel for everyone impacted, but also feel optimistic they'll find better roles elsewhere, where they are more valued. I don't think in the long run any of them will be missing this now-toxic culture
Multiple Corp NOC and NTAC support teams in Parsippany were completely let go. Could be a pending full shutdown there.

I am the chosen one from west market RF. Good luck to everyone still working and to the ones like me. My firm believe is whatever happens, happens for the best which is yet to come. May we all get better opportunities soon. At least, we will be getting some money as usual for a month or so. It will be a big support.
